(Frequently Asked Questions and Never Asked Questions)

Why are your prices so high?
Time really IS money.  In addition to the time that it takes to make each piece, I also need to cover the cost of documenting the piece, transporting it to the gallery, and selling it.  There is time spent in web page maintenance and sorting and storing materials in my studio.   In addition, I spend several hours a week collecting and sorting my materials.and taking apart  the light fixtures,  vacuums, laptops, radios, and heaters from which I salvage the materials that I need.

So why are your prices so low?
Low overhead--I don't pay a percentage of my earnings to a gallery and I don't spend very much on materials.

Now tell me:  what kind of artist are you?
            I am a Neo-neo-dadaist Sculptor.

What is that?

According to Wikipedia, Dadaism was an early 20th Century  artistic expression that appeared to reject logic.  It embraced chaos and irrationality.

According to the same source, Neo-dadaism was a mid-20th century art movement that was "exemplified by its use of modern materials, popular imagery, and absurdist contrast."  It was a precursor of pop-art.

The contemporary art movement called Neo-neo-dadaism, like its predecessors, rejects logic, embraces chaos, and uses popular imagery and absurdist contrast.  In addition, it champions the use of recycled materials.
